January - March: The first three months of the year are business as usual. We edit and do the background work to move our authors to market.
April: We do launches in April, which means traveling and time away from the computer. Some normal work is accomplished, but it is not business as usual. Doing launches in April sets the novels ready for the summer season.
May - July: Back to business.
August: Launches are again on the schedule in preparation for the holiday season.
September - November: Once again, business as usual.
Thanksgiving to New Year's: We essentially shut down. We might do some background business, but everyone deserves a break and why not enjoy the holidays.
Mission
Iconic Publishing's mission as an independent publisher of speculative fiction is to bring you the best in Science Fiction and Fantasy, Mystery and Suspense, Steampunk, Cyberpunk, Pulp, and cutting edge Urban Fiction and Fantasy.
We look for well-written stories that challenge and engage the reader and capture the imagination with fresh innovative ideas and original concepts.
Authors
Iconic welcomes new and established authors. We believe that in the current economy, the big publishing houses are not giving a fair chance to new authors. They are looking at the bottom line and the million-seller, and who can blame them. So are we. But, unlike the big houses, Iconic is not buried under the antiquated publishing model. We can and want to provide an outlet talented those talented individuals that have spent hours, days, weeks, months, and even years pouring their heart and soul onto the page. Talent and hard work deserves to be recognized and rewarded.

Artists
Artists are vital to the publishing industry. The cover artwork is one of the many marketing tools available to publishers and writers. It inspires someone to pick the book up, read the inside flap or the back blurb, then turn to a page to hear the author's words.
Iconic is always looking for artists. Interested individuals should send an inquiry with a sample or link to a portfolio of their work if they are interested in working with Iconic.
